Ling Magazine























Here's a piece I did for Spanish airline Vueling's inflight magazine 'Ling'. The article was about the boom in spinach’s popularity between the two world wars. Parents stuffed their children with the leafy vegetable, because of a recording that Popeye latched onto, that suggested Spinach had an extremely high iron content. It wasn’t until 1937, however, that it turned out the iron content had been recorded with a comma in the wrong place and that there is, in fact, barely a trace...
